Minibus
St Anthony's church has been working hard to provide transport for needy parishioners and we are pleased to announce that we have set up a new service. This will be provided for 11:30am Mass on Sundays.. If you have been part of the minibus service and would like to be picked up or have mobility issues, please contact Paul Curran,viathe parish office to make arrangements for pick up. Please note there is a limit of 15 places.
Please Note: This service is for a trial period and is dependant on donations for funding. Any gift will be greatly appreciated. Thank you to Paul Curran who has instigated provision of thisservice.
Union of Catholic Mothers
The U.C.M will be holding a Summer Meeting – Social atthe Bridge House Tavern, on the corner of Anerley Park and High Street, Penge,Monday 21stJuly. Meet in thegarden, 7.30 pm onwards. For furtherinformation please contact Kate Boyle via presbytery office.
Folk Choir
The folk choir took part in the 10.00 am
Mass on 13th July. The next Mass where
the folk choir will participate is at 10.00 am
on Sunday 31st August. There will be two rehearsals, the first at 7.30 pm on Friday 22 August and the second at 7.30 pm on Thursday 28th August. Meet at the church. Additional singers and musicians most welcome.
Baptism Preparation Dates for 2008
21st July, second half on Monday week, suitable for parents who have already attended one session
Next sessions
8th & 15th September; 3rd & 17th November.
All sessions will be on a Monday & begin at 7.30pm
& is expected to end by 9.15pm.
It is required that parents attend the two preparation sessions before the Baptism of their children. It is preferable preparation is during the mother’s pregnancy.
Children aged 5+ will need instruction before being baptised and therefore parents must make an appointment to arrange this with Fr. Sunith.
