The web-site is set up and running albeit set up by an amateur. All it needs now is visitors!
Please view and give your comments and help it to be a useful tool.
Could you be web efficient or whatever the correct terminology is?
Any ideas considered.
The Holy Spirit lives in the web as well and may be speaking to you.

Would you like to prepare a brief mission statement about your group?
This can then be inserted into the web-site.
This could also be put in the newsletter from time to time to encourage recruitment. Should you wish to do so, when completed please give your statement in to the presbytery office, Thank you. Cecilia.

Due to movements in the population of the Parish
we lose some members every year, and it is very important to make them up.
So if you are interested in joining the 200 club please leave your details at the Presbytery office, or with Father Sunith.
The Annual subscription is £13, but this can be paid half-yearly, (£6.50p), or quarterly (£3.25p) instalments. Direct Debit forms are also available from the Presbytery Office.
Cheques should be made payable to St Anthony’s Church.
We shall be most grateful for your support.

The Holy Mass
A thoughtful parishioner has passed on a letter written to the Crusader Magazine, and thought maybe some of our parishioners, or maybe you know someone, who might benefit from this. The letter reads as follows:
“…In my parish we had a problem of the aged, ill and housebound people missing out on daily Mass. I decided to make a DVD of the Holy Mass so anybody who was disabled could ‘attend Mass’ in their own home. The recording was made facing the altar, to help people feel like they really are at Mass. There is footage of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The DVD is available from me, by sending a cheque for £15, payable to R. A. Quick at The Holy Mass New Enterprise House 184 Harrington Street
Peartree Derby DE23 8PA or telephone 01332 762296
All proceeds are going to help build a hospital in Nigeria.

In the third round (quarter-final!) of this year’s Top of The Pew quiz St Anthony’s are drawn to play away to St Joseph’s, Bromley. The contest will take place on Sunday 27th July at 8.00pm in their church hall in Plaistow Lane. Please come along and support your team in a fun and friendly atmosphere. There is no entrance charge and refreshments are provided for a voluntary donation – with all proceeds going to this year’s charity – JusB – “A brighter future for young people in Bromley.” For further information about the contest or tournament, please contact Sarah Hinchliffe via presbytery office
During the month of August there will be NO REFRESHMENTS after the 10am Mass.
We take this opportunity to thank all the members of the groups that give their time on Sunday morning, come rain or shine, to provide this service for parishioners. MANY THANKS TO ALL
