untitled

                         This week ..

We expect a child to grow and mature and learn more

so we should educate and grow more ourselves, both in body and soul.

Consider keeping a special intention to help grow in the love and service of the Lord.

If God brings you to it,

He will bring you through it.
Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God
.

Welcome...to excerpts from the weekly Newsletter

Southwark Catholic Directory 2009

We are about to order these and we ask that any parishioners wishing to purchase a copy leaves their name and contact details on the appropriate form available in the Narthex.

Copies of the directory are priced at around £3.50.   This is excellent value for the wealth of information it contains, addresses and telephone numbers of Churches, schools, priests, Catholic organizers and much more. We will only order for people who leave their details so please, if you would like a copy, fill in the form today. Thank you.

They normally arrive in November December.

The Dowry of Mary Pilgrimage, Walsingham

Sunday 7th September.  Led by Rt. Rev. Patrick Lynch “Celebrating the truly universal character of the Church in England”

If any parishioners are interesting in attending or maybe organising a coach party, please inform Fr. Sunith.

Diaries 2009

The pocket/handbag size diaries, with the church calendar, are now available in the narthex and are still very reasonably priced at 50p.  The diaries prove very popular so we encourage you to buy early.

·         If you require a Mass said on a specific date or at a weekend please book at least 3 months ahead to avoid disappointment

·         If you are not willing to have your Mass transferred to the Missions, please indicate this on the envelope.

·         When giving details of intentions please note whether the Mass is for a deceased person or for a special intention/welfare.  Please write all names clearly.

 Thank you.
